Launching first in the UK, this market-leading technology allows customers to bypass menus and simply have a natural conversation to discover not only new cuisines, restaurants, & dishes, but also retail, pharmacy and beauty offerings. It then speeds up the process of placing an order.

Beyond the menu: Taming choice overload 

With the endless choice offered by the Just Eat Takeaway.com app comes the challenge of “choice overload". The innovative assistant, first launched with chat function, has been designed specifically to tackle this, acting as a personal food concierge. With the addition of conversational abilities, it streamlines the checkout process and offers tailored recommendations based on genuine interaction.

Crucially, using AI technology, the assistant is designed to  provide meaningful and relevant output to users by evaluating the potential intent of the user based on natural conversation. Following today's UK debut, a wider international rollout is planned for 2026.
