While Just Eat has a proud 25 year history in Denmark, it has been navigating challenging circumstances. This intention reflects the business’ commitment to drive efficiencies and focus on building strong and sustainably profitable positions, while delivering the best experience for customers, partners and couriers.
We would like to thank our partners, staff, couriers and loyal customers for being part of our story for so many years. We are initiating a consultation process for approximately 120 employees and 160 couriers, whom we are dedicated to supporting closely throughout this transition.
Following the successful conclusion of the employee consultation processes, we confirm that Just Eat’s operations in Denmark will conclude on 30 April 2026. Following JET’s decision to cease operations in Denmark and to make the transition easier for Danish customers and partners, Just Eat Takeaway.com has entered into a marketing agreement with Uber Eats. As part of the agreement, Just Eat customers will be offered the opportunity to switch to Uber Eats where they can continue ordering from their favourite restaurants.
