Our partners are at the heart of everything we do and our success is truly tied to theirs. So, every year, we take the time to recognise their incredible service and dedication through our annual Partner Awards. The event gives us a real opportunity to shine a light on the fantastic talent across the food and on-demand delivery industry, and this year has been no different.
From small family owned restaurants to branded restaurant groups, grocery stores and health & wellness retailers, we work with around 356,000 partners, offering a wide variety of choice and everyday convenience to our millions of consumers. We were delighted to celebrate the hard work our partners put in every single day, to serve our consumers across our markets, through our annual Partner Award celebrations.
Altogether, we saw approximately 300,000 customers voting for their favourite restaurants and retailers across participating markets. With categories ranging from Best Newcomer, Best Vegetarian, Best Grocery to Best of Country, the awards showcase the diversity, choice and quality our partner network has to offer.
In the Netherlands, the event took place at the historical Heineken brewery in Amsterdam, where the top three nominees from all categories were invited to celebrate their achievements. For the second year in a row, we celebrated the 'Courier’s Favorite' category, where Gochu Gang West was voted as the top restaurant couriers love to deliver from — thanks to its friendly service.
In Germany, we celebrated at the GAGA Club in Hamburg welcoming 300 guests for an evening of celebration. Loco Chicken, the restaurant chain owned by German rapper Luciano, was honored as the best local restaurant chain, while Vy Delivery, known for its Asian fusion cuisine, took home two major awards: Best Restaurant in Germany and Best Lunch. The prize for Best Newcomer went to Schnitzery, expanding to more and more German cities with its unique schnitzel bowl concept.
We celebrated the event a little differently in Switzerland. The awards were handed out with personal visits to the winning partners, making sure that each of them received individual recognition. We also hosted a special cooking competition for the “Best Restaurant Switzerland” award, inviting the top three winners to battle it out for the big prize.
In Italy, PLANT Lab was named “Best Sustainable Partner”, while in Denmark, Womanizer took “The Gamechanger” award for its customer service and self care product selection. Overall, it’s been a fantastic few months recognising and championing the wide variety of our partners on our global platform.

This includes our Menu AI tool, which reduces the time required to upload menus to our system by around 50%, speeding up the process of onboarding. In addition, our 'Order Now Toolkit' enables restaurants to drive orders through their own channels at no extra marketing cost. Partners are also able to participate in wider marketing campaigns. This includes exclusive opportunities to get involved with campaigns around our UEFA partnership.
We are always exploring ways to champion and bring value back to our partner base. Whether it's access to a wide consumer base to support restaurants and retailers to broaden their reach and attract more customers, introducing new innovations and collaborating on marketing initiatives to support business growth, we’re dedicated to fostering long-term success for our partners and their businesses.
